  15. Oh, I could certainly use both of those items! Thank you so much for the chance to win. My favorite part changes as time goes by. Once upon a time, it was the design stage, then for a long time it was the quilting itself. Of course, fabric collection is always fun! Now, I think it's laying out completed blocks on the floor to see what I have made.

  32. I love everything about quilting from the first little speck of an idea for a quilt to the end when the binding and label are being finish. But mostly I love the hand quilting process, there is something soothing about the rhythm of the needle through the quilt which is relaxing and therapeutic

  33. The making of anything is like magic to me--it really turned out! So I guess the prospect of a project and then the moment when I iron pieces open and they look like something. I love that!

  39. I like choosing fabric and whether it is for a pattern I already have or one I am imagining. I also like the quilting aspect. I quilt by hand. I find it relaxing.

    ReplyDelete
  40. i enjoy the dreaming process most

  41. My favorite part is planning a new project. I love playing with design ideas and pulling fabric possibilities. Sometimes that's as far as it goes, sometimes I make a block or two and decide against continuing, and sometimes I see my idea all the way through to become a new quilt.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I love seeing the finished project and how it all comes together. Ok and to be totally honest I love when someone else loves it too.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Thanks for the giveaway of the great goodies! My favorite part is designing new quilts and quilt blocks. I've had several published and it's always a thrill for me when that happens.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I love everything -- designing, cutting, piecing, hand quilting. Ok, maybe not basting. :) Thanks for the giveaway! sarah@forrussia.org

    ReplyDelete
  59. I enjoy looking at the finished project and giving it to someone else:)

    ReplyDelete
  60. I like making quilts and sewing crafts. I am not fond of the quilting part just the piecing part. The crafts are just a welcome break from the usual quilting. I enjoy picking new patterns, finding fabric, then sewing away. The whole process is fun for me.
